Back in 1993, CD singles were just as valuable as albums because they always provided something that albums didn’t have such as a new remix or extended version of the single or a freestyle.  When A Tribe Called Quest dominated hip-hop with “Award Tour” from their “Midnight Marauders” album, Consequence was introduced to the world on the maxi single when he rapped over “The Chase, Part II.”

Consequence went on to appear on ATCQ’s “Beats, Rhymes & Life” and establish himself as a ghostwriter for Kanye West (“808s and Heartbreaks), Beyonce (“Party”), and ATCQ (“Beats, Rhymes, and Life”).  As the new star of “Love & Hip-Hop,” Cons is being featuring alongside his girlfriend as they work together to their son despite having different religious beliefs and values.  Hopefully, they will also focus on his rap credentials.
