Dear Jadakiss & Styles P:

Ever since Jay-Z and Kanye West released “Watch the Throne” I have been waiting for your rebuttal.  You gave it to me with your “Otis” freestyle that is actually better than the original.  I was hoping both of you would release an album years ago after classic collaborations on “Jenny From the Block,” “We Gonna Make It” and the “We Belong Together” remix with Mariah Carey.

I am not aware of the label politics that are involved in making this happen.  But as I listened to the radio today I heard another incredible collaboration called “Paper Tags” where you rap alongside Wale and French Montana.  It just feels like when you guys go back and forth no else matters.  You are both in the zone.  Anyone who doesn’t believe me can listen to “Banned from TV” which was recorded in 1998 but sounds better than 90 percent of today’s rap music.

Please respond to my letter before Juelz Santana and Lil’ Wayne finally put out their ”I Can’t Feel My Face” album or before Nas and AZ decide that it is time to resurrect “Illmatic.”  Hip-hop needs this now.  Show them how it’s done!

Sincerely,

The Launch Writer
