December 3, 2012:  “Because they [fans] have no clue what they are talking about,” said Lakers head coach Mike D’Antoni about the team’s 107-105 loss to the Houston Rockets that included Dwight Howard missing 5 of 10 free throws down the stretch.  “Pretty simple.  You don’t do that to a guy and he made his foul shots.  He’s not the reason that our defense breaks down.  He’s not the reason that stuff happens.  He’s got to work through this.  You take him out now, then what are you going to do?  Are you going to take him out all the time?  You got a player that’s going to be your franchise player and you just do it.  You don’t do that.  You don’t do it to him and it’s not him that’s causing the problem.  It’s not a good thing.  It’s a kneejerk kind of reaction.”
