The best Notorious B.I.G. playlist took place on the morning of March 10th when DJ Big Ben went Biggie ballistic on Hot 97. Unlike most of the track listings that you’ve heard, Ben went into the crates to find rare freestyles, the demo versions of songs that Biggie wrote for Junior Mafia (“Queen Bitch” & “Player’s Anthem”), unreleased singles and a constant history lesson of the songs that were sampled to create the soundtrack for Bad Boy Records.
